Assessment and taxation agreement The Council is authorized and empowered to negotiate and execute assessment and taxation agreements between the City and a taxpayer or taxpayers within the City of Essex Junction consistent with applicable requirements of the Vermont Constitution. This section shall not be construed to supersede any provision of State law relating to the education property tax. (Added 2021, No. M-10 (Adj. Sess.), § 2, eff. July 1, 2022.)
