Vacancy In the event a vacancy occurs on the Board of Supervisors, the legislative body of the municipality may appoint an interim replacement to serve until a new supervisor has been duly elected or appointed. A supervisor named to fill a vacancy shall serve until the expiration of the original term of the supervisor he or she is replacing. The appointment of the replacing supervisor shall be certified by the clerk of the member municipality to the Clerk of the District.
