(2) The City Council may remove any appointee set forth in subdivision (1) of this subsection and appoint another. (b) The City Council shall also appoint and remove members of boards and commissions created by the Council and other officers approved by the Council or required by law. (c) Any appointment made by the City Council to fill a vacancy shall be only for the balance of the unexpired term in which the vacancy occurred. (Amended 2011, No. M-6, § 2, eff.
