§ 3

1 shall have all powers granted to a fire district pursuant to 20 V.S.A. chapter 171, and the fire district shall have the authority to: (1) bill all users of water and wastewater services provided by the District for their pro rata share of the expense of providing, operating, and maintaining the service; (2) expend such sums for acquiring, constructing, and maintaining the water and wastewater works, companies, and all equipment and real estate used in connection therewith, including reservoirs and dams; (3) use and occupy such portions of the highways within Bolton Fire District No. 1 as may be necessary for constructing and maintaining the water and wastewater works and water and wastewater mains.
