Purpose The purpose of the Fire District is to provide fire protection for the Town of Williamstown and to provide such other protection as may seem prudent to safeguard the health and welfare of the inhabitants of Williamstown. None of the foregoing shall be construed to preclude other activities conferred generally on the Fire District.
