Constable/tax collector The City Treasurer shall also act as Constable and Tax Collector for the City of Rutland with all the duties and powers conferred upon a constable or tax collector as provided by Vermont State law, but the fees allowed to the Tax Collector or Constable shall be paid into the General Fund of the City of Rutland.
