Acceptance of funds (a) The Commissioner of Environmental Conservation, with the approval of the Secretary of Natural Resources, may accept federal grants made available through the federal Clean Water Act and the federal Drinking Water Act in accordance with this chapter. Acceptance of this grant money is hereby approved, provided all notifications are made under subsection 4760(a) of this title. (b) The Commissioner shall report receipt of a grant under this section to the Chairs of the Senate Committee on Institutions and the House Committee on Corrections and Institutions and the Joint Fiscal Committee.
