Conveyance to grantor and others (a)(1) Without an intervening conveyance, a person may convey interests in real estate directly:(A) to themselves in a different legal capacity;(B) to the person’s spouse; or(C) to themselves and one or more other persons, including the person’s spouse.(2) A person shall not convey an interest in a tenancy by the entirety or in homestead property to any person except the person’s spouse, unless the spouse joins in the conveyance. (b) A conveyance made pursuant to this section shall be effective to convey such title as would be conveyed by the deed if the grantor were not also a grantee. (Added 1977, No. 134 (Adj.
