Release from a correctional facility to do work in the service of such facility or of the Department The supervising officer of any correctional facility may permit an inmate to leave the facility for the purpose of performing maintenance work or farm work, or any other work necessary, or appropriate for the maintenance, operations, or business of the facility or of the Department.
