Department of Buildings and General Services The Department of Buildings and General Services is created in the Agency of Administration as the successor to and continuation of the Department of Buildings and the Department of General Services. In addition to all other responsibilities assigned to it by law, the Department is responsible for all matters relating to the development, design, construction, management, and disposal of State-owned and -leased buildings under its jurisdiction and for the provision of support services to State government.
