The purpose of this Center shall be to provide information on federal, State, and municipal government contract opportunities and assistance on how to bid competitively for government contracts and to develop and maintain a database of federal, State, and municipal contracts. (b) The Department of Economic Development may charge an annual fee of up to $50.00 from each person who accesses the Government Marketing Assistance Center database of federal, State, and local contracts. (c) Fees collected under this section shall be credited to a special fund and shall be available to the Department of Economic Development for the purposes of maintaining databases that provide information to Vermont businesses and providing services associated with those databases.
