Executive clerk and Executive messenger The Executive clerk shall be paid weekly compensation and expenses at the rates allowed to members of the General Assembly during a session of the General Assembly, such compensation and expenses to be paid from the appropriation for the Executive Office of the Governor; and the Executive messenger shall be paid the same compensation and reimbursement for expenses as pages of the General Assembly under 2 V.S.A. § 64, such compensation and expenses to be paid out of the appropriation for legislative expenses.
