Tax form contents Except as otherwise provided pursuant to subsection 8905(d) of this title, the tax form shall require the following information as to the purchase price of the motor vehicle: (1) the value of any motor vehicle accepted in trade together with its make, type, serial or identification number, and year of manufacture; and (2) the make, type, serial or identification number, and year of manufacture of the motor vehicle purchased.
