Appointment of Secretary of State for service of process Before a license is issued under the provisions of this subchapter, the handler, if a nonresident or a foreign corporation, shall, in writing, appoint the Secretary of State its attorney upon whom service of legal process in any action or proceeding against it may be made with the same validity as if made upon the handler. The provisions of 9 V.S.A. §§ 4209 and 4210 shall apply to such handler. (Added 1965, No. 175, § 20.)
