Arrest of owner of building If the owner or keeper of the alcoholic beverages, alcohol, or other property seized pursuant to section 562 or 563 of this chapter is unknown to the officer, or if a person is not found in possession or custody of the seized alcoholic beverages, alcohol, or other property, the officer shall apprehend and bring before the court the owner or occupant of the building or apartments in which the seized alcoholic beverages, alcohol, or other property was found, if he or she knows or can ascertain the person’s identity.
