Complaints and prosecutions The Commissioner of Liquor and Lottery or the local control commissioners shall make complaint to the State’s Attorney or other designee of the legislative body of the municipality of any unlawful furnishing, selling, or keeping for sale of alcohol or alcoholic beverages and provide evidence in support of the complaint to the State’s Attorney or that municipal designee, who shall prosecute for the alleged violation.
