When a provision in a policy is in conflict with the provisions of this chapter, the rights, duties, and obligations of the insurer, the policyholder, and the beneficiary shall be governed by the provisions of this chapter. (Amended 2021, No. 105 (Adj. Sess.), § 170, eff. July 1, 2022.)
