Savings clause (a) Except as otherwise provided in this part, the provisions of the Act apply to a transaction or lien within its scope, even if the transaction or lien was entered into or created before the Act takes effect. (b) The provisions of the Act do not affect an action, case, or proceeding commenced before the Act takes effect. (Added 2013, No. 157 (Adj. Sess.), § 1.)
