U.S. Virgin Islands § 321 — U.S. Virgin Islands law

(a) There is hereby created the 'Office of Status Education' (hereinafter 'Office') which is an agency under the Legislature of the Virgin Islands for budgetary purposes.\n(b) The Office shall have three (3) members selected as follows:\n(1) A director, selected by the Governor, with the advice and consent of the Legislature; and\n(2) Two (2) assistant directors appointed by the Governor; one (1) from the district of St. Croix and one (1) from the district of St. Thomas and St. John.\n(c) The members who are appointed shall serve for a term of two (2) years and may be reappointed for successive terms. In the event a new member is appointed, the original member shall serve until the new member is qualified.
