The Office of Status Education shall:\n(a) educate the public on the issue of status in both English and Spanish;\n(b) organize and conduct meetings within the territory for the discussion of status and related issues;\n(c) conduct research or surveys of the issue of status and how it impacts the Virgin Islands;\n(d) apply to the United States Department of Interior for the funds necessary to educate the public on the issue of status;\n(e) complete and summarize the work started by previous Status Commissions; and\n(f) do all things necessary to fulfill the purposes of this chapter.
