U.S. Virgin Islands § 323 — U.S. Virgin Islands law

The Legislature shall annually appropriate not less than $150,000 to the Office of Status Commission. The Director is authorized to use the funds appropriated for office expenses, including salaries of staff, travel expenditures and other expenses necessary to fulfill the purposes of this chapter. Funds appropriated for the purpose of this chapter or transferred to the Office by any other entity, agency, department, or instrumentality shall remain available until expended.
