U.S. Virgin Islands § 1212 — U.S. Virgin Islands law

A person, copartnership, association or corporation required by the provisions of this chapter, to file a certificate and pay a registration fee, and failing to do so may not commence or maintain any action in any court of the United States Virgin Islands for the enforcement of any right or obligation arising out of the doing of business in the United States Virgin Islands; nor shall a license or certificate be granted to a nonresident individual, copartnership or unincorporated association to transact any business in the United States Virgin Islands unless such individual, copartnership or association has complied with the provisions of section 1210 of this title.
