(a) The Commissioner shall be responsible for the maintenance and administration, under the laws of the United States Virgin Islands, of all areas acquired, structures erected, or equipment purchased under the provisions of the Act referred to in subsection (a) of section 81 of this title.\n(b) As used in this section, 'maintenance' means all routine upkeep or repair of, and general expenses incurred on or about, the areas, structures, or equipment referred to in this section.
