The Director of the Consumer Services Administration by virtue of his office shall be the Director of Weights and Measures during his term of office. Subject to the provisions of chapter 25 of Title 3 of this Code, the Director shall appoint a deputy director of weights and measures and such inspectors and sealers of weights and measures as may be necessary to carry out the provisions of this subchapter.
