U.S. Virgin Islands § 3065 — U.S. Virgin Islands law

(a) Any person, organization or entity establishing by clear and convincing evidence coercion, intimidation, threats, or any injury by reason of a violation of this chapter has a civil cause of action for treble damages, punitive damages, injunctive relief, or any other appropriate relief in law or equity. If the plaintiff prevails, the plaintiff may also recover reasonable attorney fees and costs incurred from the investigation and litigation.\n(b) In addition to other remedies provided by law, the Government shall have a civil cause of action against any person, upon a showing by clear and convincing evidence that it has been injured by reason of a violation of this chapter. The Government shall have a civil cause of action for treble damages, punitive damages, an injunction, or any other appropriate relief in law or equity.\n(c) The defendant is entitled to recover reasonable attorney’s fees and court costs if the court finds that the plaintiff raised a claim without factual or legal support and was vexatious, frivolous, or brought in bad faith.
