U.S. Virgin Islands § 843 — U.S. Virgin Islands law

Whoever—\n(1) makes or presents any claim upon or against the government of the Virgin Islands or any officer, department, board, commission, or other agency thereof, knowing such claim to be false, fictitious or fraudulent;\n(2) knowingly and willfully falsifies, conceals, or covers up by any trick, scheme, or device a material fact;\n(3) makes any false or fraudulent statements or representations; or\n(4) makes or uses any false bill, receipt, voucher, roll, account, claim, certificate, affidavit or deposition knowing the same to contain any fraudulent or fictitious statement or entry—\nin any matter within the jurisdiction of any officer, department, board, commission, or other agency of the government of the Virgin Islands, shall be fined not more than $500 or imprisoned not more than two years, or both.
