U.S. Virgin Islands § 1265 — U.S. Virgin Islands law

Whoever—\n(1) willfully and maliciously defaces, breaks, destroys or removes any—\n(A) tomb, monument or gravestone erected to any deceased person;\n(B) memento or memorial; or\n(C) ornamental plant, tree or shrub appertaining to the place of burial of a human being; or\n(2) marks, defaces, injures, destroys or removes any fence, post, rail or wall of any cemetery or graveyard—\nshall be fined not more than $1000 or imprisoned not more than 5 years, or both.
