U.S. Virgin Islands § 1265b — U.S. Virgin Islands law

The parents, guardians or other person having legal custody of a minor less than 18 years of age who shall injure any public or private school property shall be liable to (i) in the case of public school property, the Government of the Virgin Islands, or (ii) in the case of private school property, the person or entity legally responsible for the control or operation of such property, for damages for the amount of the injury in any court of competent jurisdiction, together with costs of suit.
