U.S. Virgin Islands § 1781 — U.S. Virgin Islands law

Whoever intentionally defaces, obliterates, tears down or destroys—\n(1) any copy, transcript or extract from or of any law of the United States or the Virgin Islands; or\n(2) any proclamation, advertisement or notification—\nset up at any place in the Virgin Islands by authority of any laws of the United States or the Virgin Islands, or by order of any court, before the expiration of the time for which the same was to remain set up, shall be fined not more than $50 or imprisoned not more than 30 days, or both.
