U.S. Virgin Islands § 132 — U.S. Virgin Islands law

(a) Any teacher certified under the provisions of this chapter and who is employed in the Virgin Islands public school system for at least five (5) years shall be provided for two consecutive summer terms free tuition for attendance at the University of the Virgin Islands for the pursuit of a Master's Degree in Education.\n(b) Any teacher that terminates or is terminated from employment in the Virgin Islands public school system less than two (2) years after receiving their Master's degree or fails to complete the course work towards the Master's degree within four years after the teacher matriculated shall become liable to the Government of the Virgin Islands for all sums paid to the teacher under the program.\n(c) The President of the University of the Virgin Islands, in collaboration with the Board of Education, shall promulgate the necessary rules, regulations and procedures to carry out the provisions of this section.
