The Commissioner of Education is authorized to purchase or lease through the Department of Property and Procurement, in accordance with the provisions of chapter 23 of Title 31 of the Virgin Islands Code, dual control vehicles and such other equipment as, in the opinion of the Commissioner of Education, is necessary for the development of the Automobile Driver Education and Training Program.
