U.S. Virgin Islands § 857 — U.S. Virgin Islands law

It is unlawful for any person while being elected to the Office of the Governor, Lieutenant Governor or to the Legislature of the Virgin Islands to vote in any election for public office outside of the Territory. Any elected official found guilty of this offense forfeits his office and is subject to a fine of not more than $5,000, but not less than $500.
