(a) Any department, agency or instrumentality of the branches of the Government of the Virgin Islands with a staff of forty or more employees shall maintain an AED on the premises.\n(b) Notwithstanding subsection (a) of this section, each public high school with an inter-scholastic athletic program must maintain an AED on the premises, which must be accessible during any school related programs, functions or sporting events. At least one AED trained school staff member must be present at such programs, functions or sporting events.\n(c) Each dental office within the territory, regardless of size, must maintain an AED on its premises if such dental office provides general anesthesia to its patients.\n(d) Each gym or health club with a membership of at least 75 persons must maintain an AED on its premises, which must be readily accessible. At least one AED trained employee must be present at such gym or health club during business hours.
