As used in this subchapter:\n(1) 'Persons' means an individual, corporation, partnership, joint venture, or association.\n(2) 'Human remains' or 'remains' means the bodies of deceased persons, and includes the bodies in any stage of decomposition, and cremated remains.\n(3) 'Cemetery' means any one or a combination of more than one, of the following, in a place used or to be used, and dedicated or designated, for cemetery purposes:\n(a) A burial park, for earth interment.\n(b) A mausoleum.\n(c) A columbarium.\n(4) 'Mausoleum' means a structure or building substantially exposed above ground intended to be used for the entombment of remains of a deceased person.\n(5) 'Columbarium' means a structure or building substantially exposed above ground intended to be used for the inurnment of the cremated remains of a deceased person.\n(6) 'Cemetery company' means an individual, partnership, corporation, or association, now or hereafter organized, owning and controlling cemetery lands or property and conducting the business of a cemetery.\n(7) 'Grave space' means a space of ground in a cemetery intended to be used for the interment in the ground of the remains of a deceased person.\n(8)
