(a) The Commissioner of Public Works shall maintain official maps showing in detail the boundaries and rights of way of all public highways in the Virgin Islands.\n(b) The classification of public highways, and the width of rights of way thereof, shall be determined by the Commissioner of Public Works.\n(c) A list of all public highways which are added to, or discontinued from, the official maps shall be published by the Commissioner of Public Works in a newspaper in each of the towns of Charlotte Amalie, Christiansted, and Frederiksted.\n(d) The Commissioner shall send written notice to the Lieutenant Governor of any public highway added to, or discontinued from the official maps within five wording days from any such addition or discontinuation.
