(a) There is established an organization of public safety and relief to be known as the Virgin Islands Police Auxiliary.\n(b) Provided that all provisions of this chapter are fulfilled, the Virgin Islands Police Auxiliary may be composed of such Home Guard units as are now in existence in the Virgin Islands at the time of the effective date of this Code or such Police Auxiliary Units as may hereafter be established.
