U.S. Virgin Islands § 1505 — U.S. Virgin Islands law

The National Guard of the Virgin Islands shall be composed of citizens of the United States who have been residents of the Virgin Islands for at least one year, comply with the requirements of age, health and otherwise, as prescribed by regulations and voluntarily enlist in the National Guard of the Virgin Islands. For purposes of this section, veterans of the Armed Services of the United States who enlisted from the Virgin Islands who enlisted from the Virgin Islands shall be considered persons who have been residents of the Virgin Islands for at least one year.
