The personnel of the National Guard of the Virgin Islands serving on Military Courts or Military Boards or who fulfill other duties by order of the Adjutant General shall receive adequate transportation to allow them to render the service assigned to them and they shall be reimbursed for the necessary expenses legally incurred in the execution of said duties which shall be paid by vouchers duly approved by the officers under whose orders the services have been rendered.
