As used in this chapter—\n'approved' means accepted by the Director of the Virgin Islands Fire Service as a result of investigation and experience, or by reason of text, listing or approval by Underwriters' Laboratories, Inc., the National Bureau of Standards, the American Gas Association Laboratories or other nationally recognized testing authorities; and 'Director' means the Director of the Virgin Islands Fire Service.
