U.S. Virgin Islands § 297 — U.S. Virgin Islands law

(a) No person shall operate any motorboat or vessel, or manipulate any water skis, surfboard, or similar device in a reckless or negligent manner so as to endanger the life or property of any person.\n(b) No motorboat shall be operated in excess of six statute miles per hour within those areas designated within the harbors and bays of the Virgin Islands as restricted areas. These areas shall be designated by the Commissioner or his designated representative.
