(a) Any person desiring to practice any of the sciences covered by section 31 of this title shall first obtain a license to do so in accordance with the provisions of this subchapter. Practice of any such science in the absence of such license shall be strictly prohibited and shall subject said practitioner to the penalties provided by section 41 of this subchapter.\n(b) Notwithstanding the provisions of Title 27, chapter 1, subchapter I, section 14, a license issued pursuant to this subchapter for the practice of medicine and related professions shall be issued for a period of two years.
