(a) Persons who obtain licenses under the provisions of this subchapter shall, within 30 days after issuance, register said licenses in the office of the Board of Medical Examiners. Thereafter such licenses shall be annually registered as a condition to further practice upon payment at the office of the Board of Medical Examiners of fees herein provided:\nFor the practice of Medicine, Surgery and all other $500.00\n(b) The Board of Medical Examiners may revoke or suspend the license to practice issued to any person under this subchapter who, after due notice and hearing by the Board, is found to be guilty of any unprofessional or dishonorable conduct, including habitual drunkenness, the drug habit or excessive use of narcotics, the producing of criminal abortion, or the soliciting of patronage by agents.\n(c) The Commissioner may call special meetings of the Board of Medical Examiners at any time for the purpose of suspending, revoking or taking other appropriate action with respect to the license to practice issued to any person under this subchapter when in his opinion the public interest requires it.
