(a) Any person not licensed under this subchapter is guilty of the unlicensed practice as a physician assistant and is subject to penalties applicable to the unlicensed practice of medicine under this subchapter if the person:\n(1) holds himself out as a physician assistant;\n(2) uses any combination or abbreviation of the term 'physician assistant' to indicate or imply that he is a physician assistant; or\n(3) acts as a physician assistant without being licensed by the Board.\n(b) An unlicensed physician may not use the title of 'physician assistant' or practice as a physician assistant, unless he fulfills the requirements of this subchapter.
