(a) The Commissioner of the Department of Licensing and Consumer Affairs may not issue or renew a wholesale license to a person, association, partnership, or corporation for the sale of alcoholic beverages if that person, association, partnership or corporation presently holds a valid retail license for that purpose.\n(b) The Commissioner of the Department of Licensing and Consumer Affairs may not issue or renew a retail license to a person, association, partnership, or corporation for the sale of alcoholic beverages if that person, association, partnership, or corporation presently holds a valid wholesale license for that purpose.\n(c) A person who knowingly or intentionally possesses both a retail license and a wholesale license for the sale of alcoholic beverages issued under this chapter shall be fined up to $1,000.
