U.S. Virgin Islands § 782 — U.S. Virgin Islands law

(a) When a forcible entry is made upon any premises, or when an entry is made in a peaceable manner and the possession is held by force, the person entitled to the premises may maintain an action to recover the possession thereof.\n(b) If the unpaid rent or the value of the real property involved does not exceed $500, exclusive of interest and costs, the Superior Court shall have exclusive jurisdiction of such action. In all other cases, the Superior Court and the district court shall have concurrent jurisdiction.
