U.S. Virgin Islands § 340 — U.S. Virgin Islands law

As used in this subchapter, the term—\n(1) 'Commissioner' means the Commissioner of the Department of Planning and Natural Resources or the Commissioner's designee.\n(2) 'Department' means the Department of Planning and Natural Resources.\n(3) 'Dwelling' means any building, structure or portion of a building or structure which is occupied as, designed as, or intended for occupancy as a residence by one or more families;\n(4) 'Family', includes a single individual.\n(5) 'Physical disability' means a physical impairment that substantially limits one or more of the major life activities of an individual.\n(6) 'Visitable housing' means one-to-four family residential dwelling units that include basic architectural features to allow persons with physical disabilities to live in or visit easily.
