All peace officers of the Government of the Virgin Islands, as defined under the provisions of Title 5, section 3561 of this code, shall be required to submit to random drug testing. The policy and procedure for testing shall directly reflect, as much as practicable, the federal law and policy of the Drug-Free Workplace Act of 1988.
