(a) This section may be cited as The Caregivers Leave Act.\n(b) All fulltime personnel of the Government of the Virgin Islands, including personnel of authorities, independent boards, commissions, agencies, and other instrumentalities of the Government of the Virgin Islands who are caregivers, as defined in 19 V.I.C. § 253(c), are entitled to four hours of administrative leave with pay per month for the purpose performing their caregiver duties.\n(c) The director of the Division of Personnel shall promulgate regulations as necessary to carry out the purpose of this section.
