(a) Notaries public appointed and commissioned under section 801 of this title shall keep an official impression seal which shall be furnished by the respective department.\n(b) Chief clerks of the United States District Court for the Virgin Islands and the Superior Court of the Virgin Islands shall submit, at least once a year, to and for the information of the Office of the Lieutenant Governor, a list of all persons authorized as ex officio notaries public.
