U.S. Virgin Islands § 207 — U.S. Virgin Islands law

Notwithstanding any other provision of law, rules or regulations, no horse owner shall be compelled to pay an entrance fee in order to enter a horse in any purse race authorized by the Virgin Islands Horse Racing Commission or any race promoted by an organization licensed by or awarded a lease franchise or concession agreement by the Virgin Islands Horse Racing Commission, unless said race is a stake race wherein the entrance fees shall be added to an advertised purse for the said race, to be disbursed pursuant to the rules and regulations of the Virgin Islands Horse Racing Commission.
